THINGS I'VE BUILT / PROJECT STORY
Daily School Email Brief
Turn down the volume without muting it.
The annoying part
School communications were already arriving. Two weeks into the year, the inbox felt like a pile of things we might need to remember, act on, or revisit.
What was already there
The emails were useful. The hard part was telling a deadline from a general update, and finding the original message when a summary left out context.
What I built
I put together a daily brief that scans relevant messages, pulls out what needs attention and what is coming up, and groups those pieces in one readable place. It keeps links back to the source messages so the shorter version is never the only version.
Why it’s useful
The win is a calmer way to keep up without turning off communication. It is still evolving as real school messages come in.
Turn down the volume without muting it.
